Angels Everywhere.

This young mom of four has an amazing story of gratitude and motherly love. She contemplated aborting her baby but God's angels were with her in that abortion clinic that day and stopped her just in time! Read her story about believing in herself and not giving up on her dreams.

Kimberly Henderson has shared her story on Facebook. She's opened up about her abortion plans and how they went wrong. She's is eternally grateful today that they did.

“Two years ago today I was sitting in an abortion clinic thinking not having Vaida was best for me. Well, this date is forever burned in my brain. … I think that is God’s way of showing me that HIS plan is and will always be greater and bigger than anything and everything I’ve ever known.”

Kimberly said, “I had my mind made up. My boyfriend was cheating on me. I have small kids, what will people think?? I kept telling myself I’m all alone I need to do this. Sitting there...I could hardly make out anyone or anything through the tears."

"People were eating fast food around me, laughing, texting. I on the other hand was a wreck. I kept my face down. My face was drenched in tears. I kept telling and giving myself every reason to go through with this even though I did not believe in it. I kept saying 'I’m on birth control this could not happen.' I kept trying to justify it.”

However, that day everything in the world seemed to go wrong.

Kimberly's older daughter became ill, her car broke down on the drive to the abortion clinic therefore arriving late for her appointment. At that point she began to wonder if God was giving her signs not to go through with it.

The receptionist called her name. As she approached the counter, a card fell out of her wallet. This card was given to her by a couple she had served that week and it had their church name on it. Kimberly said, "On the back was a common verse…‘Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.' Isaiah 41:10 I knew God was speaking to me.”

In that moment, Kimberly made a life-changing decision and told the nurse that she changed her mind about the abortion. Kimberly continued, "As I was about to walk out, a young girl no older than probably 19, says to me, ’Are you going to do it?’ I told her, 'I couldn’t.' She said, ’I wish I could be brave like you.’ I told her, 'she was brave and she could do the same thing.'

As I turned around, this young girl said to me, "When you see your baby’s face for the first time, you’re gonna be so glad you walked out of here today."

After giving life to such a beautiful little girl, Kimberly said, “I welcomed my beautiful Vaida into this world with both my best friends by my side. I remember seeing her for the first time and bursting into tears. 6lbs 4oz of pure perfection and no matter what pain I felt physically and emotionally… She gave me a feeling of joy that I can’t even explain. A kind of joy that if a war was going on outside, I wouldn’t even know it. I am so in love. My once tiny 6lb baby is now 18lbs. Full of life. Full of energy. Loves to laugh. Loves to smile.”

In December 2014, Kimberly taped herself singing a Whitney Houston favorite "How Will I Know" to her then 1-year-old Vaida. This video went viral with over 4 million views.

Kimberly is not only a talented singer, but is also a song writer. She wrote a song titled, "Tiny Hearts" which was inspired by her oldest daughter who she had when she was just sixteen-years-old. Currently, this song is #5 on the iTunes chart and she’s working with different companies and a manager to negotiate a record deal.

And while this young mother of 4 has been through a lot, it's those life pains and situations she loves to sing and write about. She firmly believes others will be able to connect with her through these types of songs. May God bless her and her family as she pursues this gift in music that has been given to her by God.
